Happy new month  guys,i know have been away for awhile and am really sorry about that.Work has been so hectic, have not been able to have time for myself and all.I really apologize for that, will try my best to always create time for the blog.I know you guys understand and thats why i love you guys..........*wink*.
Well,i have a friend who is a make-up artist and she is so good at what she does.....So i had to beg her to share some tips on how to tie gele.Ladies,am sure after reading this you going to know how to tie the perfect gele.

Tips for tying an African Head Wrap (Gele)
Tying your gele is as easy as making a bow but more versatile. This will work you through the basic styles. Head-wrap styles are as versatile as your imagination can take you.

The weight, texture, and size of the fabric will affect the end result. For the basic style, use ½ to 1 yard of 100% cotton fabric.
Always keep your head gear piece crisp with a spray starch for better results.

Ther different types of Gele: we have the Aso-oke, the tapan pa(paper gele), the damask, the turban..et.c

First things first, Start by folding the head gear fabric (aso-oke) to a width of about six inches. This can be achieved by folding the piece in half lengthwise, and then folding again twice or so.

Wrap the fabric around your head with the right side extending about one and half over the left side, u can either make a V shape or a round shape, whichever that suits u better.

Ensure that your gele is in two equal lengths. Most times, this is one of the basic mistakes ladies make when tying gele. This helps to keep an equal length of the plittings.... Also ensure that your Gele is well tied so that it won't fall off while dancing or partying hard...Loolz. ..

Take the gel brush and apply the nail gel on your nail, brushing a thin layer starting from your cuticle to your nail tip. The application motion should be similar to applying nail polish. Make sure that the brush hairs don't come out while applying the gel. If they do, it means you are putting too much of pressure which must be avoided Negle Produkter
